Econolite is manufactured for OMB in South Africa under a worldwide patent. This product consists of fibreglass-reinforced inner and outer layers both with a gel coat finish and bonded to a polystyrene core. The advantages of this material are its insulation properties, which is why it is primarily used for mobile facilities and specialised dry freight purposes where it is critical to maintain a low ambient temperature. (Not a Chiller).
