Chiller Van Bodies

Chiller Van Bodies come in all shapes and sizes and are generally custom built to suit the requirements of the customer. You may ask" what is the difference between a freezer and a chiller?"

There are a couple of features which are different, chillers don't require such low temperatures and are constructed using low density foam core, sandwiched between two zinc anneal steel sheets.(typical chiller temperatures are 0-5 degrees C where as freezer vans can go as low as -20 degrees C)

Bondor Van Specs

- Heavy duty steel girder base with RHS cross bearers every 400mm

- Floor steel / al. [ ]mm chequer/smooth floor bent up sides, fully welded & sealed

- [ ] mm polystyrene insulated base

- [ ] mm thick polystyrene insulated panels to sides

- [ ] mm thick polystyrene insulated panels front and roof

- [ ] mm Bondor double rear doors with heavy duty hinges, camlock and Sealock seals and door retainer to each door

- Traffic lights to ADR and police regulations

- VSB6 and loading to chassis with mudguards and mudflaps

- Front clearance lights (where required)
